As with adults, hypnosis is a state of focused awareness, were we are awake and aware, its a specialised therapy that helps you use your imagination to your advantage. 

 

Children take very well to hypnotherapy because of their vivid imagination, love of learning new things and desire to understand and participate in fun imaginative activities. 

A typical session consists of the child being accompanied by a parent or guardian from around age 4-16 the first session will be a free informal chat to meet Sharee the therapist to see how your child feels about using their mind to their advantage in a fun and gentle way.  

During this time some information will be gathered to see which types of techniques would benefit your child the most. 

 

A variety of relaxing techniques and NLP  will be used in order to help your child adapt their behaviour in a positive fun way.
